Overview
AIDOL AI is an enterprise SaaS platform for building and hosting custom AI virtual assistants — designed end to end, from onboarding to live conversation.
As Founding Product Designer at Pantheon Lab, I owned the product experience from the ground up: shaping the product vision, designing the core workflows, defining the information architecture, and delivering high-fidelity solutions across onboarding, agent management, billing and platform settings.
Positioning
Aidol AI turns any business into an AI-first business. Build a virtual assistant, give it a voice, a face, and a knowledge base — and put it to work in minutes, not months.

Strategy
Two constraints shaped the whole product, and both came from the business rather than the interface.
“Build for real usage, not just the demo” is the line I kept returning to. Every flow had to hold up under edge cases, plan limits and account growth, not just the happy path a sales deck walks through.
Product surface
The platform resolves into four pillars. Each one is a distinct mental model, so each one got its own place in the navigation rather than being folded into a settings screen.
Agent builder
Creating an agent is the moment that decides whether someone stays. It is broken into five explicit steps — avatar, details, branding, custom knowledge, advanced settings — with the completion state of each one visible at all times, so no one is ever guessing how much is left.
Avatar selection leads because it is the most legible decision a first-time user can make. The technical choices come later, once there is something on screen worth configuring.
Brand & identity
The product needed an identity that read as infrastructure rather than novelty. The mark sets a bracketed face — {·} — against a plain grotesque wordmark: legible at favicon size, calm at billboard size.
Matched outlined and filled icon sets keep the interface consistent across states, and the system carries through to the marketing surfaces without a second visual language.
A note on access
The products and designs I worked on are private, so this page shows the parts I can share. I’m happy to talk through the process, the decisions and the trade-offs over a call — deanovelar@gmail.com.
